A custom battery pack usually starts with the device - not with a battery catalog. Voltage, runtime, current demand, available space, connector and charging method all shape the final pack.
HSS Energy supplies Lithium Battery Packs for portable equipment, electronic devices, instruments, robotics, monitoring products and other OEM applications. The compact range covers NCM lithium-ion and LiFePO4 platforms, with each configuration reviewed around the electrical and mechanical requirements of the finished product.

Small 12V equipment and compact lead-acid replacement |
For single-cell devices, 3.7V packs provide the simplest compact platform. These projects usually prioritize small dimensions, connector fit, runtime and protection-circuit integration.
A 7.4V 2S platform is a practical step up when 3.7V is not enough, but a larger 12V architecture would add unnecessary size or circuit complexity. NCM packs commonly use 18650 or 21700 cells depending on capacity and available space.
11.1V Lithium Battery Packs
For devices with higher operating-voltage and power requirements, an 11.1V 3S platform provides more flexibility in runtime and current configuration. Common HSS Energy projects range from about 2000mAh to 10000mAh, with typical continuous discharge around 3C depending on the cells and series-parallel arrangement.
12V LiFePO4 Battery Packs
Compact 4S LiFePO4 packs are used for small 12V equipment, auxiliary power and smaller lead-acid replacement projects. Typical capacities range from about 5Ah to 30Ah. Charger compatibility, current demand, terminals and available space should be checked before replacement.
NCM or LiFePO4?
NCM lithium-ion is the main chemistry for 3.7V, 7.4V and 11.1V packs, where compact size and flexible cell arrangement are important. LiFePO4 is used mainly for the compact 12V range, especially where a 12V-class architecture, repeated cycling and small lead-acid replacement are the priorities.
For cylindrical-cell NCM projects, 18650 and 21700 are common cell routes. The same voltage can be built with different series-parallel arrangements, changing capacity, runtime, current capability, pack dimensions, weight and charging time.

Same voltage does not mean the same pack Two packs with the same voltage and Ah can still require different cells, protection circuits, connectors and mechanical layouts. |
HSS Energy can review and customize:
· voltage and series configuration
· capacity and cell model
· continuous and peak current
· PCM / BMS protection
· battery dimensions and pack shape
· connector type, cable length and polarity
· insulation, wrapping and enclosure
· label, branding and packaging

Typical development workflow Requirement -> Battery Proposal -> Prototype -> Device Test -> Confirmation -> Bulk Production |
Prototype validation helps confirm fit, connector orientation, runtime, charging compatibility, current behavior and cable routing before the production specification is fixed.
Send the required voltage, capacity or runtime, normal / peak current, available battery dimensions, charging method, connector type or photo, cable length / polarity, existing battery information if applicable, and expected order quantity.

Fastest way to start A device drawing, battery-compartment dimensions or existing battery sample can make the first evaluation much faster. |
How do I choose between 3.7V, 7.4V and 11.1V?
The battery voltage should follow the device's electrical architecture. These platforms generally correspond to 1S, 2S and 3S lithium-ion systems.
What chemistry is available?
NCM lithium-ion is the main chemistry for 3.7V, 7.4V and 11.1V packs. The compact 12V range mainly uses LiFePO4.
Can you use both 18650 and 21700 cells?
Yes. The suitable cell format depends on capacity, current, available space and final pack dimensions.
Can the connector and battery shape be customized?
Yes. Connector, cable layout, polarity, pack dimensions, wrapping and protection configuration can be reviewed around the device.
Can samples be made before production?
Yes. Prototype samples can be prepared for device-fit and functional validation before bulk production.
